    To support the expansion of the historical exhibit at the Hancock-Clarke House to incorporate the stories of enslaved individuals, including interpretive materials, updated tours, and staff training in slavery interpretation and cultural sensitivity around these challenging histories.

    To support their increased community engagement and conversation opportunities through multiple public art projects for MetroWest residents to enjoy safely during and after COVID-19.
  • Hopkinton Center for the Arts

    To support collaborative cultural programming of an alliance of Waltham community organizations in celebration of the women’s suffrage centennial in 2020, called Suffrage100Waltham.

    To support a formal architectural study of the Old Academy and the Edgell Memorial Library on Framingham’s Centre Common, including the need for handicapped access, fire suppression, systems upgrades, and interior improvements.

    To support the Carney Gallery’s efforts to increase visibility of and access to their free fine art exhibitions for the public.
  • The Umbrella Community Arts Center
    To support a variety of public and community art installations, including an Artist in Residence program, the Art Ramble outdoor sculpture exhibit, Artists Create Change Together banner painting, and community art activities in town and at public celebrations.

    To support the Discovery Museum Speaker Series, a series of 6 free and open-to-the-public conversations on issues of importance to adults in our community annually.

    To support the expansion of their innovative educational model through new installations in the Process Gallery and The Lab, as well as enabling research and design for a new accessible outdoor learning space called The Grove.

    To support the new Cultural Projects Manager position that will oversee more than 50 cultural events hosted by Downtown Framingham, Inc. while also promoting weekly events within the area’s nearly 15 arts and entertainment venues.

    To support workshops to older adults to teach watercolor painting while creating their own still life setups from treasured personal objects and collection at Gore Place.

    To support efforts to implement a new integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to allow staff to more efficiently manage content and programs, identify and steward new donors, and market programming to new audiences.
  • New Repertory Theatre
    To support four free performances of its Classic Repertory Company productions to venues in MetroWest communities to perform largely for underserved youth, but will also impact seniors and the general public.
  • River’s Edge Arts Alliance
    To support the consolidation of systems to a single cloud-based relational database to track registrations, ticket sales, scheduling, memberships, and donors.
  • The Wang Center for the Performing Arts DBA The Boch Center
    To support ArtWeek in the MetroWest region, an award-winning, ten-day spring arts festival featuring unique, affordable and creative experiences in all artistic genres that are participatory, interactive, or offer behind-the-scenes access to artists or the creative process.
  • Advocates, Inc. Framingham
    To support seniors with consistent mental health counseling in the community who are struggling with anxiety, loneliness, depression and other mental health issues.
  • Amazing Things Arts Center
    Funds will support efforts to replace all windows in the facility to help significantly reduce utility bills.
  • Chhandika
    Funds will support the Decoding Dance series aimed to present high caliber kathak performances on diverse community platforms in order to engage audiences, help decipher the complexities of Indian classical dance and highlight its universal relevance.
  • deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum
    Funds will support the expansion of the hands-on visitor experiences in FY18 to create the Lab, an all-new space that will thoughtfully integrate art, science, and nature.
  • Exsultet, Inc.
    Funds will support improved and increased marketing efforts for the organization to help with increasing audience size.
  • Hopkinton Center for the Arts
    Funds will support a monthly children’s series, including low-cost opportunities for families to enjoy children’s concerts, puppet shows and theatrical performances that are both entertaining and educational.
  • Mother Brook Arts and Community Center
    Funds will support efforts to build two, five-stall handicapped-accessible restrooms.
  • Needham Historical Society, Inc.
    Funds will support a cataloging project to recreate lost data and record it in a digital database to improve collections management, delivery of services, and public outreach.
  • New Repertory Theatre
    Funds will support three free performances of its critically-acclaimed production “Thurgood” being brought to venues in MetroWest communities to perform for underserved youth, seniors, and the general public. Performances will be scheduled in Winter/Spring 2018.
  • Open Door Theater
    Funds will support the planning, rehearsal and production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella in 2018, which will star a mixed population of actors ages 9 and up of various ability, including approximately 35% actors with special needs; such as mobility challenges, Autism, Down Syndrome, cancer and Deafness).
  • Sudbury Historical Society, Inc.
    Funds will support the organization’s efforts to revitalize a historic town asset to build a History Center, complete with museum galleries, an archive, and a visitor’s center, in the town-owned c. 1730 Loring Parsonage located in Sudbury’s Town Center.
  • The Discovery Museums
    Funds will support the development and implementation of “makerspace” programs that meet the specific needs of families with children on the Autism spectrum, who are deaf/hard of hearing, or who are visually impaired.
  • Amazing Things Arts Center
    To support the Children’s Entertainment series for the 2017 calendar year. ATAC has renewed its commitment to children’s programming with monthly performances by a range of extremely talented musicians, actors, and magicians.
  • Danforth Art Museum/School
    To support Danforth Art’s museum education outreach to all Framingham Public School third grade classes, plus a professional development workshop for social studies teachers, in the 2016-17 school year. This program is an update to the successful collaboration between Danforth Art and FPS started in 2002.
  • deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum
    To support an installation in deCordova’s process gallery, which offers visitors of all ages essential opportunities to engage hands-on with the 2016-17 exhibitions in the main galleries.
  • Dedham Community Association, Inc.
    To refurbish the windows in the historic Haven House, the headquarters of DCA and an important cultural and community landmark for the residents of Dedham and surrounding towns.
  • Golden Tones Inc.
    To support free or reduced-fee performances to underserved, older adults living in facilities that have small or no entertainment budgets, enabling the Golden Tones chorus of volunteer singing seniors to deliver uplifting musical shows.
  • Gore Place Society
    To support the construction of an accessible exterior ramp and an accessible bathroom at the historic Gore mansion.
  • Hopkinton Center for the Arts
    To support the hiring of a part-time development manager who will be in charge of fundraising, donor retention, and corporate sponsorship as HCA grows its programs and operations.
  • Museum of World War II
    To support a second year of providing professional development workshops for teachers in MetroWest school systems to develop curricula on World War II using primary sources from the Museum.
  • TCAN (The Center for Arts in Natick)
    To support the renovation of TCAN’s second floor, including the purchase of sound equipment for this space, which will be used for art-house cinema, classical music concerts, and other performances and events.
  • The Discovery Museums
    To support quality, supplemental programming while the Science Discovery Museum is closed for expansion and renovation.
  • The Robbins House – Concord’s African American History
    To support the creation of three outdoor educational exhibits that will provide historical context to the lives of early African Americans in the North. The Robbins House is across the street from Concord’s North Bridge and attracts thousands of visitors year-round – these outdoor exhibits will provide important information.
  • Waltham Boys & Girls Club
    To support the Waltham Boys & Girls Club’s music program, which is designed to give every young person the opportunity to experience the magic of music. Participants engage in music lessons, recording sessions, performances, and workshops.
